Custard, pudding and mousse recipes
Here's where you'll find recipes involving custard, pudding, and mousse - three similar (but different!) creamy desserts. All typically involve a few of the same basic ingredients: cream or milk, sugar, and some sort of flavoring ingredient. The primary distinction is in how they are thickened. Pudding typically uses cornstarch as a thickener, whereas custard is usually thickened with eggs. Mousse can be thickened with whipped cream or egg whites, and is not cooked (whereas the others are).
