Fruit crumble, crisp, & cobbler recipes
For a fruit-forward dessert that's similar to a pie, but much lower maintenance, try a crumble, crisp, or cobbler! Not sure what the difference is? All of these desserts start with a juicy foundation of baked fruit; the distinction is in the topping. The terms "crisp" and "crumble" are often used interchangeably, but for our purposes here, the topping on a crumble contains oats, whereas in a crisp it does not. Cobblers have a biscuit-style topping that resembles a cobblestone street, hence the name.
If you're just getting started here, try a classic like my peach cobbler, or for something a little healthier, go for my vegan and refined sugar-free raspberry coconut crisps. Another great, non-seasonal option is this strawberry apple crumble, since both of these fruits are typically available year-round!
