Fruit crumble, crisp, & cobbler recipes
For a fruit-forward dessert that's similar to a pie, but much lower maintenance, try a crumble, crisp, or cobbler! Not sure what the difference is? All of these desserts start with a juicy foundation of baked fruit; the distinction is in the topping. The terms "crisp" and "crumble" are often used interchangeably, but usually the topping on a crisp contains oats, whereas in a crumble it does not. Cobblers have a biscuit-style topping that resembles a cobblestone street, hence the name.
