WHITE CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT COOKIES

These big, soft, and chewy cookies are studded with crushed peppermint candy and white chocolate chips for a sweet wintertime treat.

– all-purpose flour – cornstarch – baking soda – salt – unsalted butter – cream cheese

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, along with the peppermint and vanilla extracts.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet, and then fold in crushed peppermint candy canes and white chocolate chips.

Chill the dough for at least an hour before scooping and rolling into balls. Place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet to bake.

Bake at 350F for 14-16 minutes, until puffed up and just beginning to turn golden. Garnish with extra white chocolate chips immediately after baking.
