These wellness shots are loaded with nutrient-dense ingredients. They’re anti-inflammatory, high in antioxidants, and immune-boosting!
1/2–1 lb ginger root*
1/2 lb turmeric root
3 Granny Smith apples
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Rinse all ingredients (except black pepper) well. Cut ginger root into chunks and slice apples and lemons into wedges.
Use a juicer to juice according to manufacturer’s instructions. If your juicer does not have a built in strainer, I recommend straining the juice once finished. Add ground pepper after straining.
Transfer juice to an airtight container and refrigerate immediately. Shake well before drinking.
Use 1/2 lb of ginger and 1 lemon for a milder flavor
