Hey! In lieu of a recipe today, I have a super huge favor to ask of you guys. This blog would be completely impossible without your support, so I really want to know more about YOU and what you look for when you visit Bright-Eyed Baker. I put together a short survey to get a sense of what you like about this blog, what you don’t like, and what you want to see more of… it would be amazing if you could take a few seconds to give me some feedback so I can make this little space of the internet better suited to you all as readers.

Aside from that, I also wanted to point out a couple new features on the site that will (hopefully!) make your life a little easier:I try to share recipes made specifically for those of you with special diets on occasion, but I know in the past you had to do a bit of hunting to filter those recipes out from the others. Now you can navigate directly to dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan recipes from the recipe drop-down in the menu bar. If you follow one of these diets, just click on the corresponding link and you’ll see every recipe on the blog that meets your needs.
I’ve also teamed up with Chicory to make it really easy for you to add ingredients for a recipe to your grocery list. Every recipe on the blog now has an “Order Ingredients” button on it, like you see here:
That button will bring up a popup with a list of all the ingredients used in the recipe, sorted by category. Check the ones that you need to purchase and then either print your list straight from the popup or get it e-mailed to you for later.
You’ll end up with a list that looks something like this, with a link to the corresponding recipe included for easy access.
