Today's post is going to be short and sweet (or long and a little tart if we're talking about this cocktail), because it's FRIDAY and anything more just feels overwhelming at the moment. Is anybody else this ready for the weekend? Please share your AMENS!!
The truth is that you really don't want to hear me doing a lot of talking right now because my brain is frazzled, my nerves are shot, and all I actually want to do is grab a cocktail and chillllll for two days straight. SO, this is my contribution to making that happen ➝ a crisp, tart, refreshing cocktail that tastes a bit like a honey-sweetened lemonade, but with a kick of gin to take the edge off. It's exactly the kind of cocktail that calls for warm afternoons lazing in the sun, or summer evenings spent outside on the patio. The flavors are simple but bold, with a little bit of a floral vibe thanks to the honey and gin, and a solid dose of lemon to zest things up. It's not your froufrou kind of drink -- expect a good buzz from the gin and that perfect lemon pucker -- but it's also light and bright to be classically summery. So without further ado, cheers to Friday!
