The Caramel Macchiato takes on a new spin – blended with ice and boozed up (just a touch!) with rum. Top with a silky rum and cocoa whipped cream for a sweet coffee treat.

Rum and Cocoa Whipped Cream

  1. Using a stand mixer fitted with the whip attachment, a handheld electric mixer, or a whisk, beat the cream until thickened. Add the sugar, cocoa, and rum and continue to beat just until the whipped cream holds its shape. Set aside.

Boozy Blended Caramel Macchiato

  1. In a blender, combine the International Delight iced coffee, rum, cream, and ice and blend just until smooth. Divide between two glasses (or pour into one large glass) and top with whipped cream, and (optionally) a dusting of cocoa powder and a rolled wafer cookie. Serve immediately.

Notes

*With this amount of rum, the flavor will be subtle and just add a little something unique to the blended drink. If you want more of a kick, feel free to add more rum.
